It's been a few years since Placebo released a new album, but the angst-fuelled Brits are preparing for another kick at the can. Loud Like Love with be out on September 16 in the UK, with the North American release date hopefully out the following day.
These 10 new songs were recorded at London, UK's RAK Studios during 2012 and early 2013. Production was handled by Adam Noble.
Loud Like Love will be available in four different physical packages: standard CD, digipak including a live studio session on DVD, coloured double vinyl, and a so-called "super deluxe box set." This latter set includes the CD, vinyl, two DVDs, five art cards, and an art print (the first 1,000 of which are signed).
Pre-sales for these items begin on May 31 right here..
The band have a European tour coming up in the late fall. See the schedule over at their website. They promise that tours throughout the rest of the world, including in North America, will be announced in due course.
