Pink Thrown into Barricade at German Concert; Painful Harness Malfunction Caught on YouTube

American pop singer Pink was injured and taken to hospital yesterday (July 15) following an onstage tech malfunction in Germany that saw her slammed against a stage barricade.

As CBC points out, the 30-year-old singer attached herself to a harness meant to carry her over the audience during hit song "So What" when it instead swung her forward into the barricade between the stage and audience. Fan-taken footage from the concert shows the singer cursing in pain ("oh, that hurt like a motherfucker") following the incident, but despite making her way back onstage, Pink was obviously in pain and was taken to the hospital shortly afterward.

Pink, real name Alecia Beth Moore, apologized profusely to fans and attendees via Twitter.

"I am so so so sorry to end the show that way. I am embarrassed and very sorry. I'm in ambulance now but I will [be] fine," she tweeted, admitting that it was she who didn't clip herself into the harness correctly.

"Getting x-rays. I hope it at least looked cool!" she joked in her posts. "Nothing's broken, no fluid in the lungs, just seriously sore."

Pink also confirmed that her backup dancer, who was thrown from the stage with her, was also fine, and that her Funhouse Summer Carnival Tour would continue as scheduled.

"Full steam ahead," she said. "No pain, no gain. Or is it no brain, no pain? Either way, I will be on that stage, even if I have to crawl."
