Published Apr 09, 2013Seattle indie pop-rock outfit Pickwick are fresh off the release of their debut album, Can't Talk Medicine, and they recently performed at Safeco Field for the Seattle Mariners' home opener. Now, they're looking to keep the momentum going with a video for the Sharon Van Etten-featuring the album cut "Lady Luck."
The clip for this song, which matches high-pitch pop melodies with a bass-heavy chug, is a cinematic black-and-white affair that avoids clear face shots in favour of artful cropping and extreme closeups. It shows a man walking around with a mysterious suitcase, and things take an unexpected turn towards the end following a personal grooming session.
Can't Talk Medicine is available in Canada through Dine Alone Records. See Pickwick's tour schedule below.
