Musicians such as Travis Scott, Motörhead's Lemmy Kilmister, Daft Punk, Iggy Pop and a wealth of others have had action figures made in their image in the past, and now musical polymath Pharrell Williams is the latest artist to be immortalized in plastic with a figurine of his own.
Yesterday (May 3), Williams took to Twitter to unveil the figure. Made by toy company Medicom, the figure stands at 300 mm in height and features Pharrell's iconic outfit from the 2014 Grammys — incredibly large hat and all. The figure will also feature a microphone accessory, as well as Pharrell's neck tattoo.
The figure isn't the only project that Williams has on the go at present. He's lined up a feature spot on the upcoming LP from Cassius, as well as overseeing the score, soundtrack and all additional musical elements for forthcoming film Hidden Figures.
