It's been a little over two years since Phantogram's last proper full-length Voices, but the duo's official website is teasing a new single that will arrive next month.
Upon visiting the site, a black and white clip sees vocalist Sarah Barthel deliver some gently sung lyrics before some ominous electronics kick in. Further lyrics and a box of text on the site point to "You Don't Get Me High Anymore" as the single's title, while a countdown clock indicates it will arrive on June 16. A press release also confirms that's when we can expect to hear the song in full via Republic Records.
While Voices arrived in 2014, the pair also teamed up with Big Boi of Outkast to release a record as Big Grams last year. They also joined forces with A-Trak earlier this month for collaborative single "Parallel Lines."
Visit Phantogram's website here to keep posted on any further teasers. At this point, it's unclear if "You Don't Get Me High Anymore" will be a one-off or part of a larger project.
