Pee-Wee Herman Picture Show

When everyone was tossing around the term "Torontopia" a few years back, I don't know if anyone could have predicted that something this cool would come out of it. Sure, there have been some good bands / records / concert series, but really, what we all care about is Pee-Wee. Live, on stage. And the good folks at the Toronto Cyclists Union heard our cry and delivered. Thanks, sweet dudes and ladies.

The premise is pretty simple; there were a bunch of people acting out Pee-Wee's Big Adventure on the stage of the Bloor Cinema in Toronto while the movie played behind them. Many of those people were in bands. This all went down during Bike Month, and for anyone missing the connection, consider that Pee-Wee is pretty much just a movie about a dude and his bike. And Dottie. Awesome.
