A three-song shapedisc will mark the album's 25th anniversary

This month marks 25 years since Pavement released third album, 1995's Wowee Zowee, and the band are marking the occasion with a special vinyl release.

A three-song vinyl shapedisc, cut in the shape of the speech bubble found on Wowee Zowee's cover, will see release as part of Matador Records' 2020 "Revisionist History" series in a worldwide edition of 3,000 units.

The shapedisc features "Sensitive Euro Man" backed with "Brink of the Clouds/Candylad." It's the first time these three tracks will be available on vinyl, having first debuted on 2006 expanded CD edition Wowee Zowee: Sordid Sentinels.

You can hear all three songs below. The Wowee Zowee shapedisc is now available to pre-order through Matador's webstore. It will be able individually, as well as with a vinyl reissue of the entire Wowee Zowee album.

The first title in Matador's 2020 "Revisionist History" series was Guided By Voices' Alien Lanes, which was announced earlier this month. The label is also set to commemorate Yo La Tengo's Electr-O-Pura, Chavez's Gone Glimmering, Bailter Space's Wammo, and Mary Timony's Mountains

Pavement had announced a pair of festival reunion shows earlier this year.
