Sir Paul McCartney may not have been let in to Tyga's Grammy party last month, but he'll be throwing some celebrations of his own on an upcoming tour. The former Beatle has confirmed that he'll be taking his live show back on the road this year for the "One on One" tour.
A press release promises a "dazzling redesigned set" and performances of dozens of classic songs from McCartney's decade-spanning career, including his work with the Beatles, Wings and his own solo material.
The trek follows up last year's "Out There" tour and will be coming to Vancouver's Rogers Arena for two nights on April 19 and 20. There is also a series of U.S. dates confirmed already as well, and more North American shows will be announced soon, according to the press release.
Tickets for the Vancouver shows will go on sale on March 14 at 10 a.m. local time. An American Express pre-sale begins tomorrow (March 10) and will run until March 13.
In sadder news, McCartney has paid his respects to longtime collaborator, producer and "fifth Beatle" George Martin who has passed away at the age of 90. Read his touching tribute from earlier this morning over here.
