Pat Maloney

"More to Love" (video)

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Aug 18, 2016

Pat Maloney hails from Ottawa, but currently calls Hamilton home, and the Ontarian singer-songwriter is ready to reveal a brand new video for a track of his upcoming album.

"More to Love" will appear on RIGHTTHERE, which was recorded at the Sugar Shack in London, ON, and hears Maloney delivering his first entirely acoustic full-length. The latest single is described by its creator as "a chirpy, no-holds-barred rant from a boring middle class white guy."

Though he appreciates slightly edgier, more politically driven music, his latest offering is simply his own account of a "former punk rock drummer's attempt at making sense of his place in the world."

As for the accompanying DIY video, Maloney shot it on his phone and transferred the lyrics onto the screen using a borrowed media projector. See the final effort by watching the lyric video for "More to Love" in the player below.

RIGHTTHERE is due out on September 6.
