Jangly New York indie-punk outfit Parquet Courts recently released their Sunbathing Animal LP, but have already debuted new material.
As part of Famous Class' LAMC series, Parquet Courts have unveiled "This Is Happening Now" as the A-side to a split single that also features Future Punx tune "Spike Train."
The series is a tribute to Famous Class colleague Ariel Panero, whose mission was "to get the bands he believed in the recognition he felt they deserved." For the 7-inch series, the label picks the A-sider, who in turns picks an upcoming artist that they want featured on the flip-side.
The limited-edition single arrives on September 16, but you can listen to both tracks below.
