Painted Palms Map Out North American Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Apr 25, 2014

Once long-distance pop duo Painted Palms settled down in San Francisco ahead of making their Forever album, and they will be keeping even closer quarters together in a tour van this spring for an upcoming tour.

Collaborators Reese Donohue and Christopher Prudhomme will be out in the road come early June, starting a month-long trek out in Los Angeles. A few weeks into the trip, the outfit crosses into Canada for a couple shows in Toronto and Montreal before dipping back into the U.S. A penultimate gig brings the band back up to Vancouver.

Along the way, the band will be playing headlining shows, teaming up for a stretch of dates with Saint Pepsi, and playing a few opening slots for the likes of Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Crystal Stilts. You'll find all of the details down below.

Painted Palms issued their Polyvinyl Records debut Forever earlier this year, with Exclaim! noting the set flirts with "sparkly, swirling synths and multilayered harmonies." You'll find a video for the title cut beneath the tour info.
