Onesidezero

Is This Room Getting Smaller

The one plus to Onesidezero is that they are constantly changing their sound throughout their debut disc. They make the listener ultra aware that anything could happen and that you should be ready for it. The same virtue is inherent in their lyrics, which are based on life experiences. In many ways, their repression/suppression awareness scheme is similar to that of Tool's, but in a light-hearted yet "feel sorry for me," preachy manner. Their sonic texture is more on the grainy side of production, but their triple guitar attack and rich vocals (there are lots of them) put them somewhere between the West Coast ethereal rock that is A Perfect Circle and the masticating characteristics that lie within nu-metal hip-hop.
