Published May 26, 2014Singer-songwriter Steven Foster plays with acts like Doldrums and Donlands + Mortimer, but next month he will be touring with his own project, Omhouse, which has just shared the new Mooneye release.
The outing kicks off in June 11 in Chicago and wraps up in Vancouver on June 27. All told, there are eight shows, plus one radio appearance, with all but one of the gigs taking place in Canada. The schedule includes a couple of festival stops, and you can see the itinerary below.
Scroll past that to stream the four-song Mooneye cassette, which promises to be "the most dance-friendly Omhouse release to date." The title cut is a orchestral electronic pop cut, while the other three tracks take a slightly more low-key approach to peculiar DIY songwriting.
It's available as a $5 digital download, or on cassette through Legwarmer Records. Copies can be purchased on Bandcamp.
The cassette serves as a teaser for the upcoming as-yet-undetailed Omhouse album Flesh to Flesh, Skull to Skull.
