Old Crow Medicine Show are marking their 25th anniversary with plans for a new album Jubilee, out August 25 via ATO Records

The album features guest appearances by legendary soul singer Mavis Staples and singer-songwriter Sierra Ferrell. The album was co-produced with Matt Ross-Spang (Drive-By Truckers, St. Paul & the Broken Bones) and recorded at their own Hartland Studios in Nashville.

Jubilee is said to capture the expansiveness and versatility of a band 25 years on the scene, showcasing their poetic and musical abilities. This is the band's eighth studio album and follows 2022's Paint This Town

Today, they share the first single from the album, "Miles Away." Written by the band's Ketch Secor and bluegrass prodigy Molly Tuttle, the track features vocals from Old Crow Medicine Show co-founder Willie Watson in his first performance with the band in ten years. Watson will tour with the band this fall as an opening act as well as to join them onstage.

Secor said of the single: "This is one of those rearview songs where objects in the mirror are closer than they appear. 25 years of making music on the road means you're always coming back to the same places as a different person; there's a reminder of your past self and the choices you made back when… this is a song about amends, of bygones being bygones, and of renewal."
