Showing the world once more that it's never quite "Bye Bye Bye" forever, *NSYNC are reportedly set to reunite on stage at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.

Billboard cites a source confirming that the Grammy-nominated group of of Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and Lance Bass "will be onstage together" as part of this evening's VMA ceremonies in Newark, NJ.

As for the occasion, Billboard notes how *NSYNC have been rumoured to have recorded new music for the forthcoming third film in the Trolls franchise, Trolls Band Together — proving that Timberlake, who will reprise his role as Branch in the movie, truly "Can't Stop the Feeling."

If you aren't counting a guest spot with Ariana Grande at Coachella 2019, tonight's expected *NSYNC reunion will be their first in 10 years — when they got together at the 2013 VMAs to help Timberlake celebrate his Video Vanguard Award.

The latest *NSYNC get-together is the second major reunion of 2023 for Timberlake, having recently linked up for a new single with Nelly Furtado and Timbaland.

The singer hasn't released a solo album since delivering an album of divisive plaid-pop in 2018's Man of the Woods.
