No Frills Drops Physical Distancing Banger "A Cart Apart"

BY Allie GregoryPublished May 7, 2020

Forever attempting to be the littest grocery chain, Galen Weston Jr.'s No Frills has released a COVID-19 hip-hop banger/PSA reminding shoppers to maintain physical distancing inside the store.

The song, titled "A Cart Apart," instructs shoppers — through rapping — to make sure they wash their hands before entering the grocery store, not to over-handle produce and to only come once a week if possible, in addition to reminding listeners that "haulers need to come together / by staying apart."

Aside from urging shoppers to "haul" responsibly, No Frills has also committed to donating $1 per stream (up to $50,000) to President's Choice's children's charities.

Read the company's statement below:

In times like these, we all need to come together by staying a cart apart. Let's be patient. Let's be respectful. And let's all work together to #HaulResponsibly. Each time you view or stream "A Cart Apart," we will donate $1* to the President's Choice Children's Charity. By streaming this song, you are helping support President's Choice Children's Charities, as they continue to reach vulnerable children with food during COVID-19 closures across Canada.

The song is available to stream on YouTube currently and is set to hit Spotify and iHeartRadio shortly.
