Trent Reznor has been teasing fans with the prospect of new Nine Inch Nails material for the last few months. Now, he's made good on his promise by announcing a new five-song EP from the project.
The release is called Not the Actual Events and will arrive on December 23 through the band themselves. You'll find the cover art for the EP below.
The release is available for pre-order as a one-sided 180-gram vinyl record or digital release on the Nine Inch Nails website.
For the EP, Reznor teamed up once again with his frequent soundtrack collaborator Atticus Ross. In a press release, he says Ross is a "now official bandmate" in Nine Inch Nails.
As if that weren't enough, Reznor is also releasing an expanded four-LP version of The Fragile. The release, which has been dubbed The Fragile: Deviations 1, will feature 37 bonus tracks and will be available on vinyl only. That can be pre-ordered here.
Further, Nine Inch Nails are prepping remastered vinyl reissues of Broken, The Downward Spiral and a regular version of The Fragile. All of the reissues are expected in the spring of 2017.
