Are we ready to stop romanticizing the mid-2010s and take things back to the mid-2000s? Nelly Furtado, Timbaland and Justin Timberlake have decided for us, sharing their new collaborative single — teased earlier this week, it's their first together since 2007 — today.

"Keep Going Up" is the name of the follow-up to the trio's hit "Give It to Me," which appeared on Timbaland's 2007 album, Shock Value. With the producer's guidance as the institution of an entire pop era, the saucy dance track reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, bringing together three powerhouses at the peak of their powers. Can they re-capture that magic? You'll have to decide for yourself.

If Timberlake is to be believed, Furtado has managed to "mix 'Promiscuous' and 'Say It Right' energy in the same song." He made that comment in an Instagram video, which sees Furtado on FaceTime with Timbaland reacting to the final mix of the track. Based on the quintessential Timba beat alone, Timberlake might be right (but he's still wrong for that fedora).

The song itself is more of a confident, self-love "look-how-far-we've-come" anthem than the shit-talking braggadocio of "Give It to Me," and it's got some signature Timbaland flair in the buzzy production. Furtado and Timberlake sound pretty good on it!

The song comes attached to a visualizer that features the three in-studio and on Facetime as they put the song together. Check it out below.
