Neil Young and Crazy Horse Cancel North American Dates

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Aug 19, 2013

Neil Young and Crazy Horse have been forced to cancel a few North American dates due to guitarist Frank "Poncho" Sampedro's broken hand.

As previously reported, the six-stringer had injured himself earlier this month, leading the band to cancel a string of European engagements, but the group had still hoped Sampedro would make a full recovery by the time they got back to North America. Unfortunately, a new press release notes that the guitarist still needs time to heal properly.

Of the four cancellations, two were to take place in Canada, at Dundas, ON's Greenbelt Harvest Picnic and at the Ottawa Folk Festival. For now, the band are hoping to be back onstage September 21 for Farm Aid in Saratoga Springs, VA. You can see the updated tour info down below.
