Californian rapper and performance artist Mykki Blanco has announced a new EP, Postcards from Italia, out September 22 via Transgressive.
The artist's first new material since 2022's Stay Close to Music, Blanco has described Postcards from Italia as their "Italian cowboy era." The EP was produced by Brooklyn-based electronic musician FaltyDL.
To coincide with the announcement, Blanco has shared the last track from the EP, the funky rave-ready "Holidays in the Sun." Listen to it below.
Blanco described the song as "a feel-good summer anthem about lazy summer days swimming in the sea, hopping from one music festival to the next, feeling good about life and living la dolce vita soaking up the sun."
"The song is a summer rave bop with nods to '90s euro dance and acid house stretching itself," they explained, "hitting every corner of the world from the beaches of Ibiza and Naples to warehouses parties in London and Berlin. ENJOY!"
