Seattle alt-rock vets Mudhoney recently announced plans to play atop the Space Needle in their hometown of Seattle tomorrow (July 11), but it's not the only major event they had planned this week. Last night (July 9), the band made their first television appearance in 18 years.
Taking to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, they delivered "I Like It Small" from this year's Vanishing Point.
The band's appearance at the Space Needle will be as part of Sub Pop's Silver Jubilee weekend, celebrating the label's 25th anniversary. For now, though, catch Mudhoney's triumphant return to TV below.
