The festival will take place from July 21 to 25 at Beaverfoot Lodge near Golden, where it will include riverside on-site camping, a variety of workshops, yoga classes, vendors and three new stages — one of which is a 13-metre geodesic dome that creates a 360-degree audio/visual experience.
"We have some of the biggest changes and additions we've ever done since moving to BC," festival director Kevin Harper said in a statement. "Expect to be transported to massive new worlds filled with the best sound, lighting, visuals, special effects and entertainers to tantalize your every sense while you listen to some of the best music on the planet. It never ceases to amaze me how much creativity Motion Notion brings together — it's a place with a lot of heart and soul, and I love seeing the human spirit come alive every July out there. I can't wait to go home again!"
General admission tickets are priced at $270, with an option for early entry to the grounds available for an additional $40. Further details on other ticket tiers and parking can be found on the festival website here.
