Fredericton, NB's avant-punk trio Motherhood have mapped out a North American tour kicking off next month.
After being named among the swaths of Canadian artists selected to showcase at this year's SXSW, the band have announced a 12-date run of performances through March and early April that will lead them to the Austin-based festivities mid-month.
Canadian dates include a tour opener on March 8 at the Cap in their hometown, as well as three shows in Quebec: Sherbrooke on March 30, Saint-Hyacinthe on March 31 and Chicoutimi on April 1.
Elsewhere on the trek, the band will perform in Portland, Brooklyn, New Orleans, and Boise, ID, for Treefort Festival.
