Morrissey Just Released This Very Questionable and Problematic T-Shirt
While we all know Morrissey is no stranger to controversy, bigmouth has struck again. This time, though, it's not so much with what's he's saying to the press, but what he's put on a very questionable new T-shirt.

As fansite True to You points out, Moz is selling the above T-shirt on his upcoming North American tour (which obviously is not coming to Canada). As you'll see, it features the lyrics "I wear black on the outside / 'Cause black is how I feel on the inside," pulled from the Smiths' "Unloveable."

However, it also features late writer and civil rights activist James Baldwin. And while Morrissey has often publicly shared his admiration for Baldwin (whose work was most recently documented in the Oscar-nominated I Am Not Your Negro), the shirt is being seen a very problematic by many out there for some very obvious reasons, and already led to a very fast and often furious response.

At this point, though, we're figuring Morrissey is used to that sort of thing.
