Morrissey returns with his latest record Low in High School next month, and while we've already heard a handful of the new songs, the former Smiths frontman has just unveiled new visuals for lead single "Spent the Day in Bed."
The clip was directed by Sophie Muller, and it opens with English footballer Joey Barton pushing Moz around in a wheelchair. They eventually encounter the rest of Morrissey's band in a dingy club, and from there it turns into a slightly more straightforward performance clip — until the group members take turns shoving him back and forth.
Despite remaining seated for the duration of the video, Moz still manages to exude plenty of dramatic flourish, with his flailing, outstretched arms and ever-expressive face. Watch the video for "Spent the Day in Bed" below.
Low in High School is out November 17 through BMG.
