Classic British comedy ensemble Monty Python are about to have their wonderful world of sounds preserved on vinyl again, with news that a nine-LP box set is on the way. Python's Total Rubbish: The Complete Collection arrives June 30 in the UK, with a North American release set for July 8.

The box set will feature all nine of Monty Python's full-length comedy records, cut from the original masters and pressed onto 180-gram vinyl. This runs from 1970's Monty Python's Flying Circus up to 1983's The Meaning of Life soundtrack.

In addition to the 12-inches, a 7-inch of "Monty Python's Tiny Black Round Thing" will also be housed in the box. A 64-page book featuring new liner notes and interviews with troupe members will also be included in the package, with the set being marked with original artwork from Python's Terry Gilliam.
