Once again, organizers behind Montreal's One Man Band Festival have announced they will be bringing a number of strictly solo artists into town this spring, with inspirational pop performer Rich Aucoin being tagged as a headliner.

The third instalment of the One Man Band Festival runs May 15 to 18 and will find more than 50 artists performing across 12 venues. The lineup also includes Pearson Sound, Shotgun Jimmie, B.A. Johnston, Laura Barrett, Jenny Omnichord, Bloodshot Bill, Kim Barlow, Chris Velan, Shake It Like a Caveman, Lonesome Organist, Wax Mannequin, Molly Gene One Whoaman Band, Xania, Gull, Washboard Hank, Pete Moser, Fastest One Man Band, Chersea, McRorie, André Daneau, Dinah Thorpe, Eric Royer's One Man Band, Marisa Anderson, Aaron Zimmer, Miss Firecracker, Jacob Moon and Twin Voices.

The specifics behind individual shows have already begun to pop up, and you can see the details over here. Show tickets are on sale now, as are festival passes. You can take advantage of an early bird special and get the pass for $40 up until April 1 over here.

Ahead of this year's festivities, a film chronicling all the action of the 2013 event will be premiering this Friday (March 28) as part of the Festival International de Films sur L'Art. Filmmaker Vidéo Femme's We Are a One Man Band will be screened at the Cinémateque Quebecoise and is said to feature concert footage and interviews with artists that took part in OMBF last year.

Also on Saturday (March 29), to celebrate the lineup announcement the fest is holding a free show at Montreal's Grumpy's venue. It's being headlined by festival performer B.A. Johnston and also includes Robots Everywhere.
