Memphis May Fire

Memphis May Fire’s mid-December debut on Trustkill had to have resulted in a happy holiday for both powerhouses. After all, duel vocals reminiscent of what Underoath have to offer, hooks similar to what you’d find in early Finch and musicianship comparable to the likes of the Holly Springs Disaster certainly combine for an ideal blend of toe-tappin’ hardcore. "Cowbell’s Makin’ a Comeback” kicks the album off with great heaviness and an extensive chorus, while "Therapy Caravan of the Fair Room” follows soon after with interesting writing more similar to a story than a song. Expose yourself to the remaining three songs and by the end you’ll wish for five more (and then some), guaranteed.
