Meechy Darko, known best as one third of Brooklyn's Flatbush Zombies, is set to deliver his debut solo album next month, and before Gothic Luxury lands, he's rolled out a new single and some sage advice: "Get Lit or Die Trying."
Produced by Dot Da Genius and theycallmeParker, "Get Lit or Die Trying" finds the MC marrying his signature gruff delivery with a laid-back guitar lead, which you can hear below alongside a music video he co-directed with Ancillary Fund.
Meechy's latest follows the previously shared "Kill Us All (K.U.A.)," which will also appear on Gothic Luxury. The album was executive produced by Dot Da Genius, and is slated to arrive August 26 via Loma Vista.
Flatbush Zombies' most recent album remains 2018's Vacation In Hell. Last year, the group contributed to massive 53-song covers album, The Metallica Blacklist.
