Just ahead of Halloween, Smashing Pumpkins have delivered a video for "Silvery Sometimes (Ghosts)."

As the song title implies, the clip features all kinds of festive imagery like skulls and candles and actual pumpkins — but most frightening of all, it features Sugar Ray frontman Mark McGrath.

He plays a radio host and introduces a haunted house challenge, which sees the band members trying to survive the night in a spooky, spirit-filled mansion.

Watch the freaky video for "Silvery Sometimes (Ghosts)" below.

The track appears on Smashing Pumpkins' upcoming Rick Rubin-produced album Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun. It's due out November 16 via Napalm.

Earlier this year, McGrath joined the band onstage for a rendition of Sugar Ray hit "Fly."
