Not only is Salad Days a full-blown stunner, but goofy Canadian songwriter Mac DeMarco is proving to be one of indie rock's most hilarious and fascinating personalities. Now, the former Makeout Videotape man has been examined with a new documentary.

Pepperoni Playboy: A Macumentary was directed by Jon Leone for Pitchfork. DeMarco shows viewers his closet-sized Jizz Jazz Studios in Brooklyn, where it contains what he calls a shrine to himself. We also follow him on tour in China, and the gap-toothed singer is scarcely ever on screen without cracking a joke.
