After sharing the first run of artists for their 2022 edition back in July, M for Montreal organizers have announced 20 more artists for the festival's expanded showcase. OMBIIGIZI, Bibi Club, Cedric Noel, Clay and Friends, Vanille, Sunglaciers and many more will be performing at the festival's 17th edition, which runs from November 16 to 19.

Joining previously announced artists Ariane Roy, dee holt, Fernie, Lisa Leblanc, Odreii, Slow Down Molasses, Soran and Virginie B are a whole host of artists from outside Quebec, including — and in addition to those listed above — Albert Dalton, C. Diab, Julien's Daughter, Kamikaze Nurse, Virgo Rising, Witch Prophet and more.

Some showcases are reserved for Pro and Melomaniac badge-holders only, while others being held at the Belmont on November 16, at Club Soda on November 17 and 18, and under the Van Horne Viaduct on November 18 will be open to the general public. To find more information on scheduling, tickets and more, head to the M for Montreal website.

In addition to its musical showcase, M for Montreal will also continue its longstanding mission to tackle current issues in the music industry, covering topics ranging from copyright in the Metaverse, the impact of A&R on the international scene, the treatment of mental health in the music industry and more. This year's keynote conference speaker is Megan Jasper, CEO of Sub Pop Records.
