Since announcing a new LP release earlier in the year, Anthony Gonzalez has been showing us some of M83's Junk ahead of the record's official release. The next piece to arrive is an '80s-mining mover called "Go!"
Initially backed by smooth snap beats, velvet-soft synth textures and a simmering sax line, the song truly takes shape once guest musician Mai Lan vocals are pumped into the mix. She offers up '80s pop-paced melodies about saving love, with the eternal flame of that sentiment flame-broiled by a bad-ass guitar solo from six-string scorcher Steve Vai.
You can check out the new Junk preview below, while the album touches down April 8 through Mute.
M83's tour schedule, which includes upcoming stops in Edmonton and Calgary, can be found over here.
