After plotting to record both an EP and full-length this year, reunited UK shoegaze unit Lush have revealed that bass player Phil King has left the band.
A statement on the band's social media accounts doesn't give an explicit reason for King's departure, but announces the cancellation of upcoming live shows at Iceland Airwaves and Rolling Stone Weekender. "We are in the process of acquiring another bass player and look forward to our final show at Manchester Academy on November 25," they wrote.
Lush released the Blind Spot EP back in April, as well as put out the Chorus box set, and had lined up a number of reunion tour dates for what was their first time out on the road in 20 years. You can find the band's complete statement below.
