After recently finishing work on her third studio album last month, Little Simz has returned with a new single.
Titled "Offence," the track finds the English MC winding her bars through fuzzed-out bass and drums, with occasional flourishes from flute and strings. You can hear the single and find a lyric video in the players below.
"For 'Offence,' I just wanted it to feel very unapologetic, very ballsy, and I think times like this especially, the current state the way the world is, it's not time to be silenced," Simz explained to Zane Lowe on Beats 1 radio. "It's time to speak up and speak your truth about things you feel."
Simz's last studio full-length was 2016's Stillness in Wonderland.
