While Soft Cell may be gearing up for their last-ever concert, the synth-pop duo of Marc Almond and Dave Ball are still dolling out some parting gifts. Among them are their first new songs in 15 years, and you can hear one of those now.

Today Soft Cell shared the new song "Northern Lights," which you can now stream below. In a press release, Almond described the track as "a celebration of our roots in northern soul."

"Northern Lights" will appear on Soft Cell's upcoming box set Keychains and Snowstorms, which will also feature the new song "Guilty (Cos I Say You Are)." The box set arrives on September 7, and you can learn more about it here.

As for Soft Cell's farewell concert, that will take place on September 30 at the O2 in London. This will also mark Soft Cell's first performance together since 2004 and will be in celebration of their 40th anniversary.

For now, though, hear "Northern Lights" down below.
