Published Aug 06, 2018Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda is continuing his healing process and focusing on his solo career with the announcement of a North American fall tour.
Shinoda will headline the "Monster Energy Outbreak Tour," which will kick off in October. While it primarily sticks to the U.S., Shinoda will start the tour in Canada, with concerts in Toronto and Montreal.
Tickets go on sale Friday (August 10) at 10 a.m. local time. You can find all the dates below.
The tour comes in the wake of the death of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, as well as Shinoda's recent debut solo album Post Traumatic.
"Listening to a recorded song is not the same as experiencing that song live on stage," said Shinoda in a statement. "Similarly, seeing a painting in an album or book is not the same as seeing the original, in person. In sharing a live experience with you, my hope is to inspire questions, answers, and reflection — not only about my story, but about your own. The search for meaning is boundless, and art is often one of our best vehicles."
Post Traumatic is out now via Warner.
