Limblifter Announce 'Pacific Milk' LP, Canadian Tour Dates

BY Josiah HughesPublished Jan 13, 2015

Three years ago, Vancouver alt-pop act Limblifter decided to reissue their self-titled 1996 album and return to the stage. Along the way, they always hinted that new material was on the horizon. Now, they've finally announced a new LP.

The album is called Pacific Milk, and marks the first new Limblifter album since 2004's I/O. While there's no tracklisting just yet, the album features 13 new songs from the group. The album was produced by frontman Ryan Dahle at recRoom and Greenhouse Studios in Vancouver.

Among the new songs is "Dopamine," a sprightly alt-pop track built on jangly guitars, busy drums and a layer of synths. Listen to "Dopamine" below.

Pacific Milk will be available on April 7 via re-recordings/We Are Busy Bodies.

The group will first preview the effort with a run of Canadian shows through March. The trek's itinerary is available below.

03/19 Vancouver, BC - Biltmore
03/20 Calgary, AB - The Gateway
03/21 Edmonton, AB - Pawn Shop
03/26 Hamilton, ON - This Ain't Hollywood
