Liam Gallagher Declares War on the "Dick Out of Blur and the Creepy 1 Out of Oasis" over Gorillaz Collaboration

As far as Liam's concerned, "We Got the Power" is no "Dancing in the Streets"

Yesterday (April 27), Gorillaz shared some behind-the-scenes studio footage of Damon Albarn and Noel Gallagher's Humanz collaboration, "We Got the Power" — and while those specific Blur and Oasis members may have buried the Battle of Britpop hatchet, they joked about what Noel's brother and former bandmate, Liam Gallagher, might have to say about the creative partnership.

Albarn predicted that he'd "have a fantastic one-liner about what a bunch of fucking knobheads we are," and now Liam has met that challenge in spectacular fashion.

He took to Twitter to voice his thoughts on his big brother's Gorillaz jam, informing his followers that the "dick out of blur and the creepy 1 out of oasis" should hang their heads "in shame," seeing as they've failed to create a single on par with David Bowie and Mick Jagger's famed collaboration, "Dancing in the Streets."

Liam kept going, blaming "that gobshite out of blur" for turning his brother "into a massive girl," and threatened "war" at their next run-in.

Noel had already offered a preemptive response to his brother's insults, telling Vulture earlier this week, "Listen, nobody gives a fuck what Liam thinks about anything."

Humanz is officially out today (April 28) via Parlophone, and you can stream it right over here.
