Lana Del Rey

"Never Let Me Go"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished May 22, 2012

A previously unreleased Lana Del Rey track called "Never Let Me Go" has surfaced online.

Presumably recorded during the Born to Die sessions, the newly discovered tune features a more country-fied version of Del Rey than we're used to, though all the familiar lyrical tropes are still in tact.

Name dropping Scarface, CBGBs and Sid and Nancy, the new track seems like it would have been a shoe-in for Born to Die with lines like "Baby, we were born to live fast and die young."

It may not have made the album cut, but you can give it a listen below thanks to YouTube.
