Ladyhawk Announce Canadian Tour Behind 'No Can Do'

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Aug 21, 2012

Following a four-year gap, Vancouver rockers Ladyhawk finally announced this month that they were ready to release a new album. As previously reported, No Can Do arrives October 9 through Triple Crown, and the band will be taking their new glory-dusted tunes out on the road shortly thereafter.

While Ladyhawk have an outdoor hometown show scheduled with Black Mountain this Saturday (August 25) at the Waldorf Hotel, the band's next set of tour dates won't start up until October. The first show takes them further west to Victoria on October 16, but the trip brings them as far east as Ontario. Coming along for the ride will be openers Baby Eagle and the Proud Mothers. You can catch all the details down below.

In other news, Triple Crown had promised the imprint would leak some new cuts before the end of the month, and the West Coast label has proved their word is bond. You can check out album track "You Read My Mind," another crunchy yet melodious classic courtesy of singer/guitarist Duffy Driediger, in the stream down below.

The label had previously promised songs will also be added to their Bandcamp page by August 23.
