After rolling out a tour in support of their forthcoming full-length Remember the Moon last month, Calgary art-pop outfit Lab Coast have revealed additional live dates, along with a new track.
Titled "Helen Bach," the track is described by vocalist David Laing as "a song about about a first date with someone with whom you have an immediate connection. But this person is simultaneously experiencing a very intense personal tragedy, and this creates a unique and fleeting moment. The romantic potential that might've otherwise have existed is absent, but you are still able to share a real moment."
You can hear how that plays out for yourself below.
A few new additions to the band's tour schedule also reveal they'll be on hand for Calgary's Sled Island festival before taking off to British Columbia for four dates to round out the month. Support on the road will come from Diamond Mind, in addition to Dead Soft, Milk and Pre Nup on June 29 in Vancouver.
Remember the Moon arrives on April 29 through Wyatt Records. Scroll past the newly updated tour itinerary to hear "Helen Bach" in the player below.
