Nashville outfit Kopecky Family Band aren't a family in the truest sense of the word, but they certainly feel like one with their seamless boy-girl vocals and big song structures. Back in April the band released their debut album, Kids Raising Kids.
The band dropped by our backyard and performed the Kids Raising Kids track "Are You Listening." Without drums and keyboards, the song takes on a much more solemn tone with its two acoustic guitars and cello, but that changes when vocalist Kelsey Kopecky claps and dances about a minute before the song ends. Check out the performance below.
On November 11, Kopecky Family Band will meet up with Said the Whale in Quebec City and join the peppy West Coast rock-pop quintet for the Quebec/Ontario leg of their Canadian tour.
