Long-running German electronic label Kompakt has already confirmed plans to celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2013 with a documentary, reissues, a fanzine, and events in Europe. The festivities will also include a compilation album, Kompakt 20 Jahre Kollektion, due out in Europe on March 18.
The title roughly translates as Kompakt 20-Year Collection, and it's a double-CD compilation that features contributions from the likes of the Field, DJ Koze, John Tejada, Matias Aguayo, Gui Boratto, Superpitcher, Justus Köhncke and many more. See the 25-song tracklist below.
This follows close behind the latest instalment in Kompakt's annual Pop Ambient series. Expect more announcements and releases as part of Kompakt's 20th anniversary soon.
