In tribute to the late Lou Reed, who they list as an inspiration and who also appeared on their 2009 single "Tranquilize," Las Vegas dance pop act the Killers recently covered the Velvet Underground's "Pale Blue Eyes" at Vegas' Life is Beautiful Festival.
The fan-shot footage isn't exactly pleasing to the eye, but the audio comes through nice and clear. Offering up a faithful rendition of the original, the band build it up tastefully with sparse instrumentation.
