Kid Koala Details 'Space Cadet' Graphic Novel and Album

After getting our hopes up for a February release late last year, genre-pushing turntablist Kid Koala has finally revealed the release details for his long-awaited Space Cadet project.

Space Cadet will be available from Ninja Tune on September 19 as a 132-page graphic novel and CD, with a web-only vinyl ten-inch coming earlier on July 20. The album can be pre-ordered here. There are also snippets of every song on that page.


 If you can't wait two months to hear this thing, Montreal fans will have an opportunity to buy the album early. According to a post on Kid Koala's website, a limited number of book with CD, vinyl and even cassette versions of Space Cadet will be available when Kid Koala performs at Montreal's BIOSPHERE from July 15 to 17.
