Published Jan 12, 2017After recently giving us the new song "Collapser," Kid Koala has popped back into our lives to share a video for the new track from his upcoming Music to Draw To: Satellite album.
The video was created by director and "chemical puppeteer" Karina Bleau, and here's what she had to say about her latest visual creation:
My work with chemicals explores the possible extensions of typical concepts of puppets. Chemical puppeteering is a research of the movement in matter that leads to natural patterns and the suggestion of forms, creating an other-worldly experience of beauty and presence. When Eric [San] asked me to do the visuals for "Collapser," I was excited to explore music as the performer — interpreting art, sound as chemical matter, patterns, and forms. The result is a dialogue between nature and magic, held in the vessel of the song.
