Kid Koala

"Collapser" (ft. Emilíana Torrini) (video)

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Jan 12, 2017

After recently giving us the new song "Collapser," Kid Koala has popped back into our lives to share a video for the new track from his upcoming Music to Draw To: Satellite album.

The video was created by director and "chemical puppeteer" Karina Bleau, and here's what she had to say about her latest visual creation:

My work with chemicals explores the possible extensions of typical concepts of puppets. Chemical puppeteering is a research of the movement in matter that leads to natural patterns and the suggestion of forms, creating an other-worldly experience of beauty and presence. When Eric [San] asked me to do the visuals for "Collapser," I was excited to explore music as the performer — interpreting art, sound as chemical matter, patterns, and forms. The result is a dialogue between nature and magic, held in the vessel of the song.
