R&B singer Kelis will finally release her long-awaited new album Food ton April 22 via Ninja Tune. Today, we get another taste of the platter with a video for the song "Jerk Ribs."
The track is built on busy percussion and plenty of horn stabs, though Kelis keeps things smooth in the vocal department. The video, on the other hand, sees her visiting various locations around Mexico as she gets photographed. Visually, it's a mix of extreme bursts of colour and subdued black-and-white shots.
