Kaytranada's name has popped up in the credits of a handful of albums this year, and before 2018 comes to a close, the producer has announced he will deliver a new release through RCA.

On social media, the Montreal-based beatsmith has revealed he will be dropping a new five-track mini-release on Friday (November 30) through the major label. A song titled "Nothin' Like U" is set to feature Ty Dolla $ign, while "Chances" will feature Shay Lia. The release also features a new track called "It Was Meant 2 B" and instrumental versions of "Nothin' Like U" and "Chances."

Kaytranada added that we can expect more from him in the new year, writing on Twitter that "all the other songs will be out next year when im gonna finish this LP i've been working on for the past year, stay tuned and much love."

Kaytranada's forthcoming album will follow his acclaimed 2016 debut 99.9%, which saw release through independent XL Recordings. It's unclear if the Canadian producer's other new output will arrive through RCA or if it's just this new mini-release.

This year, his work has appeared on albums from Cadence Weapon, Bishop Nehru, Craig David, Shad, Mick Jenkins, VanJess and Lou Phelps.
