Kanye West's "Famous" Appears on Apple Music and Spotify

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Mar 28, 2016

Kanye West spent the weekend delivering Easter joy to the masses, thanks to his bunny suit and a reworked version of "Ultralight Beam" dubbed "Ultralight Prayer." And it appears he's not done giving back to the world yet.

"Famous" from this year's is-it-or-is-it-not finished album The Life of Pablo has now appeared on streaming sites Apple Music and Spotify. The rapper previously claimed that the album would only ever be available through the Jay Z-helmed Tidal (and certainly not in CD format).

True to his word, the full album has yet to appear anywhere else, but "Famous" marks the first official foray outside the realm of Tidal for a Pablo track. The version that is currently streaming on multiple services has been reworked from its initial incarnation. It still features vocals from Rihanna, a Nina Simone sample and the controversial Taylor Swift line.

UPDATE (3/30, 10 a.m.): "I Love Kanye" from The Life of Pablo has surfaced on other streaming sites now as well. Scroll past "Famous" to listen to the second song to make the jump from Tidal exclusivity.
